Laurent Mercier
Laurent acts as counsel and arbitrator in commercial and investment disputes, mostly under ICC and ICSID rules, with a focus on construction and energy.
Laurent has sat in more than forty arbitrations as counsel, co-arbitrator or chair. Before joining Sanad he spent twelve years in the disputes group of a Paris firm.

Lead counsel for a contractor in a dispute over a metro line, award in favour of the client.
Chair of a tribunal in a gas pricing review between two state companies.
Counsel to an investor in an ICSID claim concerning a revoked mining licence.
